Dhaka, Bangladesh Global: A total of 2 lakh people left the capital by trains every day, said Dhaka Railway Station's manager Mohammad Masud Sarwar. Today, 69 trains from in and around Dhaka are scheduled to leave. Of those, 33,500 are the passengers of 44 inter-district trains. Besides many commuters will travel by local, mail and commuter trains.
"Not only during Eid, it is all time banned to travel on train roofs," he replied while responding to a question over the issue of the journalists. Hope that, there will be such a fair environment for the next two days, he added. There is no allegation of home-bound passengers about schedule of the trains.
