Fire in Bogura's Shapla market, 15 shops burnt

Bogura, Bangladesh Global: At least 15 shops were burnt in a fire broke in Bogura town's Shapla Super Market on Sunday morning. Bogura Fire Service and Civil Defense Assistant Director Manjil Haque said, "At 7:55 am, we received the information of the fire at the market. Being informed, first five units of Sadar and later two units from Kahaloo and two units from Shahjahanpur joined to douse the fire. Them it was brought under control after about two hours of efforts. Meanwhile, 15 shops were burnt in the fire.'' How the fire started and how much damage was done cannot be said without an investigation, he added.
