Early reports suggested that Perry drowned at his home , but investigations were ongoing at that time .In that time, there has been no mention of drug involvement or any criminal charges.
But later investigations revealed that the ketamine in his blood was the primary cause ,with drowning and other factors contributing to his passing. He was found to have high levels of ketamine in his system.
Five people ,including two doctors, who allegedly supplied ketamine to "Friends" star Matthew Perry in a bid to exploit his drug addiction for profit have been charged in relation to his overdose death, US officials said Thursday. The U.S. Attorney's office announced the charges ,stating that the doctors and other exploited Perry's willingness to pay for this drugs.
