Dhaka, Bangladesh Global: Police detained former lawmaker and Awami League’s publicity and publication secretary, Abdus Sobhan Miah alias Golap, from Nakhalpara in Dhaka on Sunday afternoon.
Mobarak Hossain, officer-in-charge of Tejgaon Police Station, said they picked up Golap for interrogation around 2:45pm.
Golap was elected parliament member from the Madaripur-3 constituency in the 2018 general election.
