Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh Global: BNP standing committee member Salahuddin Ahmed went to his birth place Cox's Bazar after 10 years.
He landed at the Cox's Bazar Airport by an US-Bangla flight at about 11:42am on Wednesday, the district BNP president Shahjahan Chowdhury confirmed.
He said, "Our dearest leader leaves the airport after 20 minutes as the there is huge gathering outside the airport.
Millions of his supporters have gathered at the airport with festoons and banners since 9am. They were found chanting slogans to welcome their leader. People and people from airport to Kolatoli.
Salahuddin Ahmed is scheduled to join a reception party organised by the Cox's Bazar BNP.
