Dhaka, Bangladesh Global: Former Railways minister Nurul Islam Sujan has been arrested.
He was arrested by police on Monday (Sept 16) night from Room No. 833 of Bangladesh Specialised Hospital at Shyamoli in the capital.
Jatrabari Police Station's officer-in-charge (OC) Md Faruque Ahmed confirmed it at night.
He said there are cases pending against Nurul Islam Sujan with Jatrabari Police Station. Legal action against him is under process.
He served as minister of railways during 2019-2023.
