Dhaka, Bangladesh Global: A court in Dhaka on Thursday placed former prime minister's adviser Salman F Rahman and former law minister Anisul Huq on a five-day remand in a case filed under Foreign Exchange Regulation Act.
Earlier this morning, they were produced before Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court. Then investigation officer SI Md Rashidul Hasan sought seven-day remand for questioning after showing them arrested in the case.
After hearing from both sides, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Arifur Rahman granted five-day remand rejecting bail prayer.
On September 13, New Market Police Station SI Md Sajib Miah filed the case against them with Kotwali Police Station.
