National Desk, Bangladesh Global: Ministry of Religious Affairs has opened a control room at the secretariat to ensure peaceful celebration of Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of the Hindus. The control room will be in operation from October 10 to 14 in room number 1424, level 14 of building six, said an official release on Thursday (October 10).
A senior assistant secretary has been given the charge of the control room.
People are urged to inform the control room by dialling 01766843809 if the overall law and order situation is disturbed in any way during the Puja celebration.
