Dhaka, Bangladesh Global: Zubaida Rahman, wife of BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman, and their daughter Zaima Rahman have reached their residence at house no. 196 in Dhaka's Gulshan area at around 12:55pm today. Police and members of the CSF escorted them to the residence as part of security protocol.
Tarique Rahman finally returned to homeland with his wife and daughter as they arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport here around 11.40am by a regular Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight. Earlier, the flight departed from London's Heathrow Airport at 6.15pm (London Time) on Wednesday and touched down at Sylhet airport at 09:56am en route to Dhaka.
Tarique Rahman left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport today afternoon for the reception venue at July Expressway, also known as 300 feet road in a bus draped in red and green, reflecting the national flag. After finishing the airport formalities, Zubaida and Zaima went straight to their Gulshan residence, while Tarique made his way to the 300 Feet reception site.
