News Desk, Bangladesh Global: Bhutanese Prime Minister Dasho Tshering Tobgay will attend the oath-taking ceremony of BNP Chairman Prime Minister-elect Tarique Rahman in Dhaka this afternoon.
"At the invitation of the Government of Bangladesh, Prime Minister Dasho Tshering Tobgay will attend the Oath-Taking Ceremony of Tarique Rahman, the Prime Minister-elect of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh on 17 February," said a press release issued by the Bhutanese embassy here this morning.
Tobgay also paid a courtesy call on Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna here today. During the meeting, he thanked the Chief Adviser for holding a free, fair, peaceful and credible election at a critical time.
Tobgay arrived in Dhaka to attend the swearing-in ceremony of the new cabinet to be formed this afternoon under the leadership of BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman. Foreign Adviser Touhid Hossain received him at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
