Dhaka, Bangladesh Global: Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Saturday exchanged Eid-ul-Fitr greetings with diplomats and people from all walks of life at the State Guest House Jamuna. The greetings exchange programme began at 10am where the Prime Minister first greeted members of the foreign diplomats stationed in Dhaka.
He later exchanged greetings with politicians, eminent citizens and people from different sections of society. The programme continued until around 11:30am. He also exchanged greetings with former Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus at Jamuna.
Earlier in the morning, President Mohammed Shahabuddin and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman offered Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at the main congregation at the National Eidgah.
