Dhaka, Bangladesh Global: Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Branch (DB) of police have seized two cars from the garage of Aktaruzzaman Shahin, mastermind of Jhenidah-4 MP Anwarul Azim Anar murder.
The vehicles have been seized from Shahin's Gulshan residence in the capital. One is white Prado and another is white microbus.
Investigation-related sources said that a team of DB conducted a raid at Shahin's Gulshan residence on Saturday and seized the cars.
It is learned that Shahin usually uses these two cars when he comes to Dhaka from US.
Accused Siam, an assistant of mastermind Aktaruzzaman Shahin, has been arrested from Nepal. He is now under Kolkata police custody and another accused Jihad arrested in India.
During questioning, Siam said that he worked under Shahin with a salary of Tk 60,000. As per Shahin's direction, he brought Jihad to Kolkata from Mumbai.
