Dhaka, Bangladesh Global: Police have arrested a member of the banned militant outfit Ansarullah Bangla team, who escaped from Narsingdi District Jail on July 19.
The arrestee was Juwel Bhuiyan, 26.
Narsingdi Superintendent of Police Mustafizur Rahman informed this at a press briefing at his office on Friday noon.
He said during the drive police also recovered 48 firearms, 1,091 rounds of bullets and other materials.
Earlier, on Wednesday night, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a member of the banned militant outfit from Narayanganj The arrestee was Md Faruque Ahmed, 43, a resident of Nuralapur in Madhabdi of Narsingdi.
