Dhaka, Bangladesh Global: Former law minister Anisul Huq and IGP Abdullah Al Mamun have been shown arrested in new murder cases.
Anisul was shown arrested in a murder case filed with Khilgaon Police Station, while Mamun was shown arrested in two separate murder cases.
Around 8AM on Monday, they were produced before a Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court from jail. Then investigation officer (IO) pleaded to shown Anisul Huq and Mamun arrested in the new cases.
After hearing accepting the petition, magistrate Mohammad Nurul Huda Chowdhury shown the duo arrested the murder cases.
The court also ordered to send them to jail.
On August 13, Anisul Huq was arrested from Sadarghat in the capital while trying to flee with former prime minister's adviser Salman F Rahman on waterways. Police recovered foreign currencies from them.
