Dhaka, Bangladesh Global: Former food minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder was arrested by Detective Branch (DB) in Dhaka on Thursday.
The information has been confirmed by Rezaul Karim Mallick, Dhaka Metropolitan Police Additional Commissioner (DB).
He said that a team of the DB of police apprehended him in the Bhatara area in the city.
The former minister is accused in a number of cases, he added.
