Dhaka, Bangladesh Global: Former prime minister and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has reached Dhaka Cantonment this afternoon to attend a reception at Senakunja on Armed Forces Day.
She left her Gulshan residence 'Firoza' at about 3:30pm on Thursday to join the reception at Senakunja.
After long 12 years, Khaleda Zia has gone to the Senakunja at Dhaka Cantonment. After 2018, she has joined a programme. She last visited Sylhet on February 5, 2018.
Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus attended the reception at Senakunja as the chief guest.
Armed Forces Day is being celebrated today (Thursday) with various programmes amid festivity and enthusiasm, commemorating the establishment of the Army, Navy, and Air Force during the 1971 Liberation War.
