Dhaka, Bangladesh Global: A number of vehicles have crashed in several places on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway amid poor visibility leaving at least one person dead and several injured.
Several buses collided into each other in dense fog on Sunday (December 22) morning at Munshiganj’s Sreenagar.
The deceased has been identified as Forhad.
The injured have been shifted to the upazila health complex for treatment.
According to fire service sources, a passenger bus was hit by another bus in Chaltipara of the upazila. A private car also hit another bus just 100 meters away. A car collided with another car in Hasara, Nimtala.
Highway police and fire service teams cleared the damaged vehicles to restore normal traffic flow.
