Dhaka, Bangladesh Global: Voting in all 300 constituencies for the 13th national election and the referendum will be held on February 12, 2026. "Voting will take place on February 12, 2026, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm," Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin announced the election schedule in an address to the nation this evening.
According to the schedule, the last date for submission of nomination papers is December 29, and scrutiny of nominations will be held from December 30 to January 4. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is January 20. Election symbols will be allocated to candidates on January 21.
The CEC said that appointments of 66 Returning Officers and 592 Assistant Returning Officers have been finalized. He further said that election campaigning will continue from January 22, 2026 to February 10.
