He also stated that India would continue to support a democratic, progressive and inclusive Bangladesh.
The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has secured a decisive victory in the 13th national parliamentary election, where it is leading decisively in over 200 constituencies throughout the nation, putting the party on course for a two-thirds majority. As a result, BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman is going to take over as the country's next Prime Minister.
